Samuel A. Hudak III, CFSP

Sam Hudak was born in Torrington, Connecticut on Feb 12, 1945, grew up there, and received his BS degree from the University of Connecticut in 1967. For 15 years, he taught music in the Chicopee, MA public schools before entering funeral service. In 1984, Sam graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from the New England Institute of Fine and Applied Arts in Boston, MA. He has been a staff member at Carmon Community Funeral Homes since 1987. Sam is licensed in CT and MA, is a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association, and holds the Certified Funeral Service Practitioner certification.

Sam's community involvement still revolves around music and he is director of the Farmington Valley Band of Collinsville, CT and the Pioneer Valley Concert Band of Chicopee, MA. He is a member of the American Federation of Musicians and resides in Chicopee, MA.
