Edward James Zenhye, Jr., 29, of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, (March 13, 2013) at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on November 7, 1983, the son of Edward James and Donna Lynn (Denney) Zenhye of Port Charlotte, FL, he had spent most of his life in Burlington and graduated from Lewis S. Mills High School with the Class of 2002. After graduating from high school, Edward attended Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He later returned to Burlington and most recently had followed his passion for cell phones, computers, and technology, and was managing a Sprint Store in Torrington. Edward had a knack for bringing smiles to people's faces, was a sports enthusiast, and an avid golfer. He regularly watched his favorite football, baseball, and basketball teams especially the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. Most of all, he enjoyed watching his favorite golfers, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ricky Fowler and Bubba Watson. He enjoyed all types of music and during high school was president of the school band. Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Eric Michael Zenhye and his fiancé Jacquelyn Flint of Wallingford and Gregory Taylor Zenhye of Waterbury; his paternal grandmother, Anne Marie Zenhye of Waterbury; his maternal grandmother, Susan (Battista) Denney of Norwalk; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 4-8 p.m., at the Carmon Funeral Home and Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. Burial will be private.
