Michael Andrew Cunningham, 64, lifelong resident of Windsor, passed away on Saturday, (September 15, 2012) after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Hartford on August 15, 1948, son of the late Andrew Corbett and Marie Florence (Rehnberg) Cunningham, he attended Windsor schools and graduated from Windsor High School with the Class of 1966. After graduation, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam era. He worked as a printer for many years at Travelers Insurance Company and retired from R.R. Donnelly & Company. He leaves three sisters, Patricia C. Meade and her husband James of Lebanon, PA, Kathleen G. Cunningham of Windsor, and Elizabeth C. Netto and her husband Darren of Windsor Locks; three nieces, Amy Sherwood of Baltimore, MD, Beth Bearinger and her husband Eric of Forest Hill, MD, and Jill Netto of Baltimore, MD; a nephew, Alex Netto of Suffield; and three great nephews, Andrew, Max, and Carter Bearinger. His family will receive friends TODAY, Sunday, September 16, 2-3 p.m., followed by a funeral service, 3 p.m., in the chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
