Sandra Ruth (Jenkins) Jaquith, 75, of Windsor, beloved wife of the late Ronald H. Jaquith Sr., died peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at her home. She was born on January 31, 1937 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Howard and Myrtle (Parker) Jenkins. Sandra grew up in Providence, RI, and had lived in Willimantic for many years prior to moving to Windsor in her retirement. She worked for the American Thread Company, served as the Registrar of Voters in Windham, CT and retired from the Royal Insurance Co. Sandra enjoyed reading, and cooking holiday meals for her family. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Windsor, where she was a supporter of many church ministries, and enjoyed singing in the choir. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed. She leaves her sister, Myrtle DuBois of Willimantic, a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Kevin McLain of Andover, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Michael Mgrdichian of Windsor and her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald H. Jaquith Jr. and his wife Debbie of Mansfield; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved and respected her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, 11 a.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, Park Ave., Windsor. A private burial will take place in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
