Leslie Terry Davis a lifelong resident of Hartford passed away on August 22, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Frank G. Davis, Jr. and Alice Terry Davis.
She was a graduate of Barbour School and Weaver High School. Leslie was also a graduate of St. Francis School of Surgical Technology and did further study at the University of Hartford.
In 1980, Leslie began a career with UPS and retired as the UPS Northeast Telecommunications Manager in 2006.
Memberships included St. Monica's Episcopal Church, The Girlfriends, Inc.-Springfield Chapter, UPS Retirees, Tuesday Night Mixed Bowling League and honorary membership of The Carpe Diem Fraternity where she enjoyed playing cards.
Besides her parents, Leslie was predeceased by her brother Frank G. Davis, III, uncles Richard Davis, Walter Freeman, Sr., and Edward Strong.
She leaves to mourn, her daughter Alexis Nicole Davis; grandchildren; Tianna Marie Easterling and Anthony Rogers, Jr.; devoted and loving aunts Shirley D. Freeman and Marilyn Terry Strong; nieces Nicole Alexis Thompson and her mother Shirley Henderson Davis, Camille Davis, Allyson Davis Ford and their mother Beverly K. Davis; cousins Walter Freeman, Jr., Walter Freeman, III, Taylor Freeman, and their mother Marsha D. Freeman, Brian Freeman, Brian Freeman, Jr., Corey Rose Freeman and their mother Connie Freeman and a host of friends
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013, 5 PM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
